Nottingham is a city in the Midlands region. Nottingham has links to the legend of Robin Hood and to the lace-making, bicycle (notably Raleigh bikes) and tobacco industries. The city has received a Purple Flag Award every year since 2010, an accolade that recognises excellence in the running of town and city centres at night.
